When Bryan gets scammed by a beauty on the beach, a series of seemingly unrelated events fall into place. Bryan is minding his own business when a beautiful woman comes yelling up to him that her husband has gone swimming and is now nowhere to be found. Bryan reluctantly dives in to find him but when he resurfaces he find his clothes were gone. He chases after her unable to catch her but able to see her baby blue Mercedes. Mickey was assigned to Bryan’s case and knew from the start he had something to hide. It doesn’t take Mickey long to find the owner of the baby blue car for it sticks out like a sore thumb. But what she finds is a web of deceit. When Mickey confronts Tina about her whereabouts earlier, Tina says she was with a friend, Kathryn Meadows. Kathryn is her husband’s mistress. And he isn’t really out of town he is at Kathryn’s. Oh the web we weave. But everything gets even more interwoven when Tina turns up dead…. NOW MOURN THE SPACE CADET is a fast paced novella with enough twists and turns to keep you interested and wanting more. It is a fast, easy read perfect for a waiting room or a short plane ride. Simulated Justice Majestic Kane is a PI on the planet Terra but he behaved as if he were Grega. After serving as an Enforcement Officer he was now a PI. A professor walks into Kane’s small office and asks for his services – to find his abducted family. Later that night when Kane goes to meet the Professor at the bar he instead finds his body. And if they were willing to kill him what chance did his family have? But before he can register much else, the same murderers emerge demanding the disk. What disk? Asks Kane. Then To-var the one wanting this disk says “We know where your family is.” Kane must figure a way out of this…. Clever Sci-Fi-pi cross genre. Easy, fast read.
