Kit Sloane was the first fiction editor of FUTURES, Futures
Mysterious Anthology Magazine. She has published numerous short stories and articles on the art of writing. LAST WORDS is the fourth in her Margot O'Banion series from Deadly Alibi Press. ALEX MATTHEWS:
Alex Matthews' recently published book, Wedding's Widow, is the sixth in her mystery series featuring Cassidy McCabe, a psychotherapist-sleuth who sees clients and solves mysteries out of her Oak Park, Illinois, home. In Cassidy, Matthews set out to create a character most women will identify with: a woman who struggles to develop healthy relationships, succeed in her career, retain her independence, and get her mother's voice out of her head.

Matthews, a psychotherapist in private practice with her husband, writes mysteries that reflect her interest in feminism, relationships, and cats (her fictional cat is a character, not a pet.) PHILLIP TOMASSO III
Phillip Tomasso III is the award-winning author of Adverse Impact, Johnny Blade, Third Ring, Tenth House and Mind Play. DR. SHUVENDU SEN
Dr Shuvendu Sen is presently a resident of New York city, working as a Medical Director for Surgical Technology program under Long Island University. He is also passionately involved with many charitable health organizations across the world.

On the literary front, his works have appeared in various newspapers, journals and anthologies. His latest short story " A Brief Encounter" has been published by the online version of BBC, UK. SHARON POTTHOFF
S.P. Potthoff published a mystery/thriller, The Twisted Triangle, through iUniverse in 2000; Down These Wicked Streets published The Face of Iniquity in 2001; she also has published poetry and has some being considered currently with SPS Studios, Inc., Blue Mountain Arts. Sharon is writing two children's book series and a mainstream novel. She also prepares court reporters' transcripts for production.

BETH ANDERSON
Chicago area resident Beth Anderson is the author of six published novels, among them one romance, two mainstream novels, and three thrillers. These two periods of time allow our editors to catch up on the large volume of submissions.

REMEMBER that we are always accepting your contest entries, year round, AND, we also have occasional theme issues that stay open to new subs during these hiatus times, as well as our annual DIME mystery anthology.
